Do I need an account? No. Hippo works fully on your phone. Sign in only if you want your library synced and backed up.
Where is my data stored? On your device, and on the Hippo server if you sign in. See the privacy page.
How do AI suggestions work? Hippo asks Anthropic's Claude to propose a collection, tags and a summary for a link. Nothing is applied until you accept it.
How do I delete my account? In the app, open Settings and choose Delete account. Or email fyfirman@gmail.com and I will delete it for you.
